Ingredients:
- ¾ tsp instant yeast
- ¾ tsp sugar
- ⅓ cup room-temperature to warm water
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
1. Activate the Yeast:
- In a small bowl, mix the yeast, sugar, and water.
- Let it sit for about 10 minutes until it starts bubbling. This indicates the yeast is active.
2. Make the Dough:
- Pour the activated yeast mixture into a larger mixing bowl.
- Add salt, cooking oil, and flour.
- Mix until the dough forms a ball that doesn’t stick to the bowl. (A teaspoon works great for mixing if you want to avoid sticky hands!)
3. First Rise:
- Leave the dough in the mixing bowl and cover with a clean towel.
- Rest for 2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
4. Shape the Dough:
- Gently remove the dough and shape it. Place it into a small bread pan or a metal mixing bowl that fits into your air fryer. Line with baking paper for easy removal.
5. Second Rise:
- Cover the dough again with a towel and let it rest for 1 hour.
6. Bake in the Air Fryer:
- Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
- Bake the dough for 25 minutes.
7. Cool and Serve:
- Remove the bread from the air fryer and let it cool slightly. Slice and enjoy!
